Chelsea have confirmed that Radamel Falcao has joined them on a season-long loan from Monaco.
Falcao, 29, will spend his second straight season on loan in the Premier League after being at Manchester United for the 2014-15 campaign, for whom he only scored four times in 26 Premier League appearances.
Speaking to the club website, the Colombian said: “I am very happy to be joining Chelsea and can’t wait to start training and help with our aim of retaining the league title and being successful in Europe.”
Falcao is reunited with former Atletico Madrid teammates – Thibaut Courtois, Filipe Luis and Diego Costa – as well as fellow Colombian, Juan Cuadrado, at Stamford Bridge.
