Hull City full-back, Moses Odubajo, finds himself in the middle of a country versus country row.
Nigeria wants him to play for them but the Greenwich-born defender has represented England U20s against Mexico and United States before playing in the Toulon tournament last summer.
The 22-year-old has not played competitively for England at any level, which means he will not need approval from FIFA to switch his international allegiance from England to Nigeria.
Nigeria sees Odubajo as their answer to their troublesome right back position.
