The Adamawa Emirate Council has announced the dismissal of the District Head of Yola, Alhaji Sa’ad Bawuro.
The dismissal was contained in a statement signed by the Secretary of the Emirate Council, Alhaji Umaru Hammanjoda.
It further said that Bawuro had been stripped of the tittle of Durbin Adamawa.
The News Agency of Nigeria reports that no reason was given for the action.
The emirate council had weeks ago suspended the Yola district over alleged land deals.
