The Emir of Ilorin and Chairman, Kwara State Council of Chiefs and Obas, Alhaji Ibrahim Sulu Gambari, will on Friday, March 17 organise a special prayer session in honour of President Muhammadu Buhari.
The Emir announced this through a statement issued by the Magaji Nda, Alhaji Salihu Mohammed Woru, in Ilorin on Tuesday and made available to journalists.
Woru disclosed that the occasion is to offer prayers to Allah to continue to guide, protect and grant Buhari sound health to pilot the affairs of the country.
According to him, the prayer session, which will be presided over by the Chief Imam of Ilorin, Alhaji Muhammadu Bashir Solihu, will hold at the Ilorin Central Juma’at mosque by 9am.
Woru said that government functionaries, Islamic clerics and people of Kwara State and beyond are enjoined to attend the prayer session.
