The senior female doctor of First Foundation Hospital, Lagos, Dr. Ameyo Adadevoh, who treated Liberian-American Ebola victim, Patrick Sawyer, is dead.
The Minister of Health, Prof. Onyebuchi Chukwu, revealed this development on Tuesday.
Chukwu, who did not give the name of the doctor, said she died on Tuesday evening.
With the death of Adadevoh, the number of persons who have died as a result of the Ebola Virus Disease in Nigeria has risen to five.
Sawyer was the first to die.

“With this unfortunate development the total number of Ebola Virus related deaths in Nigeria now stands at five.
“The other two patients currently under treatment in the isolation wards are stable and are being taken care of.”
