He emphasized that STF would increase snap/temporary and mobile checkpoints as well as intensify vehicular /tricycle/search at all checkpoints across its area of operation during this Easter season.
The commander warned members of the public to know that the ban on use of fireworks (Knockouts bangers ) is still in place.
He appeals to community leaders to join the security agencies in the awareness campaign and their adherents and followers, particularly the youths not to engage in acts that could disrupt the peace that is currently being enjoyed.
Enetie called on the good people of Plateau and Bauchi states to report any suspicious persons or objects to security agencies as well as warm their wards against picking objects on the street.
The STF also advised any group of persons whose stock in trade is trouble making and enemies of peace and progress to desist or be treated as such.
