A former spokesperson of the Department of State Services (DSS), Ms
Marilyn Ogar, has been retired compulsorily.
Ogar, a deputy director had proceeded on a study leave abroad
immediately the President Goodluck Jonathan administration left office
on May 29.
She was however recalled as soon as Alhaji Lawal Musa Daura assumed
office as the Director General of the DSS.
Ogar was subsequently demoted to the position of an Assistant Director
and posted out of the headquarters in Abuja.
It was gathered that she was retired compulsorily having been found to
be partisan in the discharge of her official duties on the road to the
2015 general elections that the then ruling party, PDP lost.
