The Eagle Online has learnt that another undergraduate of the Lagos State University was gunned down on Sunday night in reprisal for the killing of rising hip hop artist, Olaniyan Damilola, popularly known as Damoche.
Olaniyan was killed on Thursday by unknown cult members at the entrance of LASU.
The killing of Olaniyan was traced to a cult rivalry between Black Axe and Buccaneers.
The cult clash continued on Sunday with another undergraduate, simply identified as Kabiru, killed.
Kabiru was allegedly killed by suspected Buccaneer members.
He was killed on Abeokuta Street, Okokomaiko, Lagos State.
In a related development, the spokesperson of the Lagos State Police Command, Ngozi Braide, has confirmed the arrest of suspected cult members by the police.
Braide confirmed an earlier story that the Special Anti-Robbery Squad of the Lagos State Police Command effected the arrests.
She said: “SARS raided one Beno Hotel, Isashi, Okokomaiko, where some cult group members were having a party and made some arrests.”
