Former Sharks striker, Victor Ezeji, and three other players have joined Premier League campaigners, Crown FC of Ogbomosho, Oyo State.
The Crown FC management also secured the services of Shooting stars’ Tareh Oke and Festus Ekah, just as they disengaged 10 players as part of the ongoing restructuring exercise embarked upon by the Ogbomosho-based club.
The affected players are; Olayiwola Oyeleke, Ali Aliu,,Etuwe Charles, Folorunsho Saad, Ajaegbu Bright ,Sadiq Yekini, Fatai Sulaiman, Austin Iyangbe, Ganiyu Akeem and Adigun Adewale.
The club’s General Manager, Alhaji Fatai Olayinka, hinted that the restructuring exercise is aimed at competing favourably against other Premier League sides.
Olayinka added that the idea was to trim the squad to a sizeable number to allow concentration in camp.
Meanwhile, the club’s Technical Adviser, Lawrence Akpopona, stated that his dream was to finish strong on the table in the 2014/15 season and also a solid side the state will marvel of.
Crown plays Kano Pillars in Week 11 of Nigeria Premier League on Wednesday at the Lekan Salami Stadium Adamasingba, Ibadan, Oyo State.
