The Central Bank of Nigeria says it will issue new treasury bills worth of N 995.5 billion as from March 19.
The CBN, on its debt issuance calendar on Friday in Lagos, said that the bills would have tenors of between three months and one year maturities.
According to the CBN, a total of N202.25 billion of the three-month and a total of N236.81 billion worth of the six-month maturities will be issued during the period.
“A total of N556.46 billion worth of the one-year paper will also be sold during the period,” the bank said.
The bank said a total of N945.5 billion worth of treasury bills issued earlier would be due for repayment during the same period.
