The candidate of the All Progressives Congress in weekend’s presidential election, Major General Muhammadu Buhari, has recorded a landslide victory over his main challenger and candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, President Goodluck Jonathan.
While Buhari had total votes of 797,246, Jonathan scored 121,665 votes.
The results were announced at the office of the Independent National Electoral Commission in Jigawa State on Monday morning.
