No fewer than two persons lost their lives on Wednesday morning at the Jos University Teaching Hospital, where they have been undergoing treatment for injuries suffered from explosion.
Information reaching The Eagle Online has it that the affected persons suffered burns from explosion associated with the usage of adulterated kerosene for cooking.
According to a reliable source, one of those who lost their lives is a sister of Iliya Putman Amos of the Plateau Radio Television Corporation in Jos and one Jessica in Ward 11.
It was gathered that one Franca, a teacher with Rayfield Private School, behind Mai Adiko Market, has stabilised, while others affected by explosion from adulterated kerosene are still in the intensive care unit of the hospital.
There has been reports of adulterated kerosene being sold in the Jos-Bukuru metropolis.
