Suspected members of the Boko Haram sect on Friday morning detonated an Improvised Explosive Device in Adamawa State.
The bomb explosion occurred at Malkohi camp in Yola, the state capital.
This was confirmed by the National Emergency Management Agency on its Twitter handle.
Already, personnel of the Adamawa State Police Command have been drafted and already condoned off the scene.
The tweet reads: “@nemanigeria confirmed a bomb blast this morning at Malkohi Camp Yola Adamawa. Police have already condoned the area.”
As at the time of filing this report, the number of casualty could not be ascertained.
