Justice Adeniyi Ademola of the Federal High Court, Abuja has withdrawn from the case brought by the Federal Government against a former National Security Adviser, retired Colonel Dasuki Sambo.
The Judge was one of the seven arrested by operatives of the Department of State Services over allegations of corruption.
Ademola has since distanced himself from the allegation, saying that it was the handiwork of the Attorney General of the Federation, Abubakar Malami, and his handling of some sensitive cases in which he delivered judgements not favourable to the government.
The cases include that involving Sambo.
He equally listed the one in which he granted bail to the leader of the Indigenous Peoples of Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu.
In withdrawing from Dasuki’s case on Tuesday, Ademola cited his arrest by the DSS and the allegations leveled against him.
He said he could not continue with the case based on the allegations leveled against him.
