Nigeria’s ex-international, Emeka Ezeogu, is at the moment leading a protest against the continued leadership of the Nigeria Football Federation by Amaju Pinnick.
The protest is taking place at the Transcorp Hilton Hotel in Abuja, where the President of FIFA, Gianni Infantino, who arrived in Nigeria on Sunday evening, is being lodged and hosted.
Ezeogu said the protest is to show to the world that Nigerians are no longer comfortable with the leadership of Pinnick.
He said the country’s football had been on the downward slide since Pinnick took over.
Pinnicka and other top officials of the NFF are in the hotel with Infantino and the FIFA Secretary General, Fatmo Samoura.
