Ajax have confirmed that Daley Blind has completed his move to Manchester United.
The 24-year-old has been linked with a move to Old Trafford all summer, and United confirmed last week that they had agreed a fee believed to be for around £15m.
Personal terms have now been agreed, with Ajax announcing the news of the completed transfer on their website just hours before the transfer window closes.
The move sees Blind link up with manager Louis van Gaal once again after the duo worked together with the Netherlands during this summer’s World Cup.
Blind, who made 146 appearances and scored three goals during his six-year career at Ajax, can play in central midfield or in a wing-back role.
