Alpha Morgan Capital Managers Limited, a financial services provider, has won the award for “Emerging Investment Banking Firm” at the Lagos Chamber of Commerce and Industry Awards organised by the LCCI.
The firm, in a statement issued by its Executive Director/Chief Operating Officer, Toyin Ilesanmi, at the weekend, said the award was received by the Managing Director, Ade Buraimo.
Receiving the award, Buraimo was quoted to have expressed gratitude to the LCCI for the recognition and promised that the firm would continue to support all the sectors of the economy with high professional, excellent services Alpha Morgan Capital is known for and sustain the securing and creation of wealth for this and generation coming.
The annual award was set up to recognise and reward corporate entities who have displayed values of best practices, wealth creation, good corporate governance, sustainability and contributed to the development of commerce and industry in Nigeria, whether those companies were in the public or private sector.
According to the statement, Alpha Morgan Capital Managers Limited was established in 2012 as an asset Management Company and Investment Banking outfit, which has shareholders fund of over ₦300 million and asset under management of over $50 million.
Alpha Morgan Capital is promoted by reputable investors and engaged in financial services, including Investment Banking, Wealth and Portfolio Management, Financial Advisory, Alternative Assets, Real Estate and Proprietary Trading.
The company, which is regulated by Securities and Exchange Commission of Nigeria, is also member of the Fund Managers Association of Nigeria and a Dealing Member Specialists of the FMDQ OTC Securities Exchange.
