Nollywood stars, Chinedu Ikedieze and Osita Iheme, popularly called Aki and Paw Paw, will be joining President Goodluck Jonathan’s entourage to South Africa on May 1, 2013.
The diminutive stars, who were honored with the award of the Member of Federal Republic by the Jonathan administration, were said to have been chosen for the journey with the President after ace comedian, AY, honoured them at the just-concluded Africa Movie Academy Awards.
Further investigation revealed that the two star actors have been enjoying wonderful patronage and reception from the Presidency since the beginning of the current administration.
It will be recalled that President Jacob Zuma of South Africa was in Nigeria last week on a one-day state visit.
Zuma announced at a news briefing that Jonathan would be in South Africa for the second leg of the visit aimed at furthering bilateral relations between Nigeria and South Africa.
