A goal deep into added time from Martin Skrtel salvaged a point for Liverpool against Arsenal, cancelling out strikes from Olivier Giroud and Mathieu Debuchy whilst masking over a late red card for Fabio Borini.
Both teams started brightly, but it was Liverpool who took the lead minutes before half-time, thanks to a superb hit from Philippe Coutinho.
However, Liverpool’s joy was short-lived when Debuchy popped up to equalise moments later.
Arsenal then took the lead in the second half through Olivier Giroud, before the home side saw Fabio Borini sent off in added time after receiving a second yellow for a high leg.
Despite playing with 10-men, Skrtel powered home a late-gasp equaliser for Brendan Rodgers’ side, denying Arsene Wenger and the Gunners all three points.
